Last week we shared news of the special election for District 4 residents. Today we’re reminding you that voting for the election is Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 25th. So far 5.41% of District 4 eligible voters have shown up at the polls for early voting.
This special election is to pick the next person to represent District 4 in Austin’s City Council. If you still need some time to read up on the seven candidates running for Greg Casar’s former seat, you have a day to read up and get informed.
You can use this older map (Special thank you to Brandon Farmahini on twitter for sharing with us) to see if you’re in District 4. Earlier this year, new district lines were drawn up but the older maps are being used for this special election.
If you’re in the area, get informed, check your registration status, and get out to vote as you’re able.
