Hi! My name is A.J. Bingham, Founder and CEO of The Bingham Group, LLC. We are an Austin-based lobby and public affairs shop assisting tech firms at the municipal and state level.
What do you love about Austin?
I grew up here so generally I love it because it’s home. I also love the amazing growth our city has experienced these past several years. Lots of great people and companies moving here, bringing ideas and opportunities.
What do you think are the community’s biggest challenges?
Austin’s biggest challenge will be housing affordability for all types (single family, condos, apartments, etc.)
Why is it important for the tech community to become more civically engaged?
Decisions made at city hall, the county, or the legislature impact everyone. Being civically engaged (being an informed voter AND voting at the minimum) is the surest way to make your voices heard.
