Why did you decide to join the ATA Advisory Board?
I am passionate about how technology impacts communities, specifically underserved communities. ATA allows me to be at the forefront of working with lawmakers and technology in order to thoughtfully and inclusively enact policy.
What is your favorite thing(s) about being a part of ATA?
I love how we engage with the tech community to educate them on policies that impact them. We create fun and interactive content that help them learn more about how they can get involved with government.
Why is it important for the tech community to be civically engaged?
Technology impacts all of our lives and powers every industry. We need to be sure that in the development of technology we represent the diverse communities that live throughout the United States. It’s important for us to know how these technologies can impact our lives and advocate so that all people are represented.
